The highly underrated 2001 movie Enigma (featuring a very nerdy Kate Winslet) is a somewhat fictionalized version of the Bletchley Park effort to crack the German U-boat codes Enigma and Ultra.
It stars Dougray Scott as the group's principle code breaker Tom Jericho, although his character is actually a straight version of the gay mathematical genius Alan Turing, who was responsible for breaking the codes.
