There is also a five member Cemetery Board who are appointed by the City Council for terms of five years. This is the oldest Cemetery in Boonville dating back to before 1835.
Two old street lights with golden eagles topping them grace the main entrance of the park. The first of these mounds is near the northeast entrance of the park.
