The 31-year-old actor, who played singing quarterback Finn Hudson in the hit show, died from an alcohol and drug overdose in a Vancouver, Canada hotel room on July 13, 2013, and four years on, Lea took a moment to mourn his passing on Twitter. The pair had been dating for over a year before his death.
In 2015, Lea opened up about having to heal her heart before allowing herself to find love again following the tragedy.
Since that tragic event, #Lea Michele has made sure to remember him as much as possible.
The actress has two tattoos related to the late actor: The number 5 under her arm (in honor of Finn Hudson's football number) and "Finn" on her left hip.
Another source said: "They were interlocked the whole time they were sitting at the counter, like arms wrapped around each other's backs. they had either just kissed or were super close talking." The pair are said to be making no attempt at hiding their affection for one another and have also been spotted liking each other's Instagram posts in recent weeks.
Following the split Lea has been focusing on her career, and has been in the studio recording new music.
Listening to the lyrics, the subject is clear:"The final days were the hardest/I didn't think they would be your last/Hope you know I forgive you/Given anything to get them back/I know you had to go away/I'll tell you everyday I miss you/But before you go/You should know I love you more/I said so."“I love it.

Here they are on their hit show "Glee" in 2009 (l.), and on location for the show in New York in 2011 (r.).
During the same session at Prospect Tattoos in New York, Lea unveiled another tattoo, this time in honour of her grandmother.
